"The Lodge at Lake Tahoe is an easy walk to a variety of good dining and shopping options, including Target and the the numerous shops and restaurants of Heavenly Village. It's also walking distance to the hideous casinos of Stateline, Nevada, if you're into those places. While the hotel is nice, it's on a very busy street (Pioneer Trail), and the traffic noise kept us awake at night due to our room being the closest to the street. In the future, I would request a room further from the street."

"Overall the location was good and the staff members were very pleasant. Initially we couldn't get into our room; keycards clicked but door wouldn't open. We called for help and after 10 minutes made a 2nd call. Someone from the front desk came but couldn't get the door open either. Maintenance finally arrived and got it open. We had to call again to get hand towels and washcloths, which were promptly delivered. The room was fine, although dated and the screen door came off the track when opened....

"It was such a quiet, clean, spacious apartment. It had a lovely view of the woods. A fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher to boot! We would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to get away with the comforts of home. "

"For Check in after 4pm you just grab your envelope out of a mailbox. No room key just a code. Property right on the water beautiful views. Not modern but clean. Short walk to kings beach along the lake edge. Kitchen had everything you needed and Safeway across the street. "

"On-line check in was a breeze. Pre-check-in was helpful. Breakfast starts at 8 am, but some grab and go was available the night before (for all you early morning skiers). Great response from the management team. Would definitely go again!"
