The hotel was very good and had a beautiple outdoor spa pool. The staff was very kind and support transportation. The room was very clean. I recommene this hotel.

Tolles Zimmer, wir haben ein kostenloses Upgrade bekommen in eine Lodge mit direkter Aussicht auf das Matterhorn. Personal hat uns vom Bahnhof abgeholt, verwöhnt und immer mega freundlich. Hotel hat viele tolle Details und ist super gelegen, ein wenig ausserhalb vom Zentrum dafür mit einem Lift von der Stadt fast direkt erreichbar, ohne Höhenmeter zu überwinden. Frühstück ein absolutes Highlight, speziell haben uns gefallen die frischen Eierspeisen a la carte (inkl.) und das umfangreiche Buffet. Roomservice super lieb, hat uns jeden Tag persönlich oder per Brief eine schönen Tag gewünscht, Tips gegeben und anstandslos sauber gemacht. Top.

Strong recommend

Great stay, the team did a great job at check in. Amazing location for ski in / ski out. We stayed in the family room which was great. Spa was amazing too.

Our stay at this hotel was very satisfying. Its location is excellent — just a 15-minute walk to the Zermatt Matterhorn Viewpoint, which was perfect for my early morning photo shoots of the Matterhorn. The breakfast was outstanding, with a high standard of food and an amazing view. The staff were very helpful and recommended great sightseeing spots for us to explore. Highly recommended.
It’s about a 15-minute walk to one of the best photo spots of the Matterhorn — those who know what I’m talking about will truly appreciate this location.

Best in town

Cervo has put thought into every detail, from checking in to all the room design choices. The breakfast buffet is lovely and includes hot breakfasts, Bazaar has great food for dinner too. The spa was so relaxing, loved looking at the Matterhorn from the hot infinity pool. It feels remote enough on the hill, but is easy to get to with the elevator from the funicular station.

Everything was perfect during our 2 night stay from Nov 7-9. We went during low season and got upgraded, so we got a balcony with Matterhorn views and a mini bar with a fridge, plates, eating utensils, glasses, kettle and a Nespresso machine…came in handy since only one restaurant was open during our stay. The spa was so relaxing, the Onsen can get crowded but we just waited for our turn and sometimes we had it to ourselves, the yurts were adorable, love their tea, bathrobes, and slippers. There’s also a sauna, which we didn’t use but many others did. Breakfast menu had many options and so cozy with fireplace and views of the Matterhorn. The honest bar is self serve/self pay, and we did buy beer, but they also have snacks, other beverages and ice cream. All of their staff is so welcoming, friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to go back! NOTE: It’s only an 7-10 min walk from the train station to the Sunnegga Funicular, where you can take an elevator up to their check in so if you don’t have a lot of luggage contact them for an entry code to use their elevator. Or you can arrange for pick up (20chf).

It's a most memorable place, ranking among the top ten in my life. We love traveling and have stayed in many hotels around the world, but there are few places as warm, friendly, and delicious as Nomad by Cervo. Upon arrival we were greeted with a warm towel, refreshing drinks and comfort. The room was unique, special and had all the comforts of home. The breakfast buffet and menu is top notch and everything was delicious, They even had chicken congee which reminded my wife of her mom's. The most important part was the staff, from the driver, reception, the restaurants, kitchen and housekeeping, everyone was genuinely warm and friendly. During our 18 day Swiss trip we stayed and visited 8 different high-end properties in Zermatt, Luzern, Interlaken, Bern, Grindelwald & Zurich. Cervo was the shining star. I Highly recommend.

We loved, LOVED staying at the Nomad Lodge and only regret that it was just a short stay! Such a unique and amazing place with a great vibe, the facilities are brilliant, the staff were super helpful and flexible. We will definitely be back!
