"Great room comfy bed great breakfast. Negative-got there at 8pm after a long 12 hour drive from mana pools, the kitchen staff made us a nice dinner of pork chops and rice but overcharged quite a bit. 15 usd/plate for one chop rice and veggies. But we were grateful to have a meal without having to head back out into town"

"Only stayed 1 night but it was amazing. Beautiful room and bathroom, huge shower plus a stand alone bath. Swimming pool is lovely. The staff were so helpful and friendly. "Started badly as not met at airport. We didn’t seem to be expected on arrival. Given one of the newer lodges. Had to ask for air con to be fixed. Door lock difficult to operate. Had to ask for tea and coffee facilities. Shower freezing cold and flooded room. Had to pay taxi driver for airport drop off when transfers were included. I had stayed at this lodge last year and the annoying issues still remain. I had tried to make contact with the property in advance of the trip regarding booking...

"The venue is beautiful and stunning Staff is generally friendly but a few times they took ages to open the gate and both during the day and at night. During breakfast staff took forever to come and serve and a few times I would wait over 30mins before anyone attended to me. Apart from this, The Liam is a beautiful safe haven to stay, the aesthetics and decor is stunning, it’s in a quiet neighbourhood and very close to town & not too far from the airport as well I will definitely stay there...
