"The location in the centro gives a non touristy feeling to Rio. Although it’s near the harbor it also is surrounded by businesses. I appreciated this perspective. The hotel itself is grand in stature and the staff are more formal than I’m used to in Rio. It had a very Waldorf feel to it. Beautiful wood and elegance But it’s also a bit minimalist.
