The staff we're amazing and friendly. Very helpful. My room was clean and the food at the resturant was good. Will definitely be back.

Disliked: Amenities
Customer service was appalling. I was woken up with a bang on my door at 7.15am with Mary delivering my breakfast. I had not asked for room service and was a bit put out. The food consisted of an omelette, some cabbage, bread and a bowl of fruit.
The upstairs restaurant was tired and looked unkempt, with an old and dusty carpet.
I chose this hotel because of the pool and had phoned to check it was in good order. Margaret assured me it was fine. Upon arrival, the pool was dark green with a Guinness bottle, some plastic water bottles and other debris floating on it. I informed staff that the pool water was dark green and they said it was being treated. In fact... on day 4 it was still FILTHY, with the same bottles floating around. As I had no intention of getting any infections, I did not use the pool.
My room was large, with a fridge, air con, flat screen tv etc and the bed was comfortable.
Overall, the hotel is fine if you just need a place to sleep, but don't look for any extras.
Selina was lovely.
The room was big and nice. Airconditioning and fan were working properly. I missed a kettle.
Location is a short camboo ride (5 km) from Bolgatanga, and a short walk (5 minutes) from the main road. A great starting point for day trips to Paga, Tongo and Bongo.
The water in the pool was green and not very clean, but still very refreshing.
The food was pretty good, but the restaurant a bit depressing, so I decided to eat in my room.
Laundry service was perfect.
No room cleaning during my 4 days stay.
I’m not sure if it was the heat, but most of the staff seemed off—aside from a few who were pleasant. The general attitude felt a bit nonchalant. When I got to the restaurant, it was extremely hot, so I asked for the AC to be turned on. They did, but it was still uncomfortable, so I requested a fan as well. At that point, I felt like I was becoming a bother. The gentleman in the restaurant seemed annoyed, ignored me, and walked away. Eventually, one of the receptionists noticed what was going on and kindly asked me to move closer to a fan that was already on. The whole situation felt a bit like pride getting in the way.
Overall, the stay was still worth it. The room was spacious and comfortable, but the AC was very noisy.
