"I received a message from the property owner that check-in was only available between 4 PM and 7 PM. Unfortunately, this posed a challenge for me, as I had a business dinner scheduled for 7:30 PM. Additionally, the property’s listing mentioned a complimentary shuttle service available 24/7, which I later found was not the case. As a result, I had to arrange for an Uber at my own expense. Overall, this experience was quite disappointing, and I believe it could be improved for future guests....

"Fabulous accommodation for a short stay. This room doesn’t have windows so only suitable if you’re intending to be out and about most of the day. Really easy to follow emailed instructions on entry to the property and access to your room. Offers breakfast but I didn’t require this and there’s plenty of small convenience stores in walking distance. Would definitely use again"

"One of the best hotels I've stayed in. We stayed in a Sands Tower Suite with breakfast. The breakfast buffet was lovely. The other restaurants on site are gorgeous, the food was one of our highlights! Staff were so welcoming & friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We got engaged here, so will deffo be back & I can't wait!!"

The hotel is old, some cracks in walls and terraces, the many elevators are a maze, not all of them worked. We needed to take stairs to the elevators, or take an elevator to change to another elevator. "Great rooms,staff are very polite and friendly. Dislike, the breakfast could have been hotter but I've been assured that new warming plates are being ordered. Maybe the introduction of bacon....we left before, 7am to catch our flight.so missed out on breakfast, staff don't start until 7.30 am. No night porter /reception, for a 4 star boutique hotel not that professional."

"Lovely, spacious room and stunning view over Balluta Bay. Hotel feels quite claustrophobic compared to other similarly priced hotels in the area and food choices quite limited. Some of the staff were excellent, particularly housekeeping and reception, but it was sometimes difficult to get someone's attention on the terrace or in the lounge. It felt more appropriate for business travel rather than our biannual trip to visit Maltese family, but we had a good stay nevertheless."

"On arrival as we were checking in we were brought a lovely cold local drink which was very refreshing. We were surprised to discover our Junior Suite was on an Executive floor, which meant we were able to use the Executive lounge while waiting for our room to be ready which was very pleasant as we were tired from our journey. "The location of this property is truly excellent. It is a boutique hotel and does it very well. Breakfast is wonderful. Location is great. It is near some very scenic overlooks of the harbor.
