"Ferntree was basic accommodation. Towels were shabby, lighting around the place was not sufficient at night, restaurant food was below par, the beds were uncomfortable and the noise between rooms was far too evident"

"We have been coming to PKs for a few years now. It is safe to say that the area has become a lot busier in these COVID times. Unfortunately - PKs had been closed for a spell and had just re-opened. This meant the pool wasn't finished or usable. They had also got rid of all the plants in that area - which changed the space a lot. I think they were short staffed and needed a new cook when we were there. The new cook didn't seem to be handling things very well. I am sure with time the place will...

"Rainforest heaven. The cabin is spacious, quiet and wonderfully equipped for a peaceful stay. The bed is magnificent - you even have a pillow menu!
The outlook from your own private deck to the surrounding rainforest is captivating.
Very highly recommended if you are looking for a peaceful, private haven."
