"Car full of luggage and I must’ve interrupted the staff having a cigarette break as I emptied the car into the hotel before they came to help.
Took up the option of valet parking which it turned out the car was reversed 2 metres in the street outside instead of being parked in a secure location.
For this I was charged €45. I complained about this the next day which I received a shrug
Of your staying at this hotel and driving there do not let them park your car or you’ll get ripped off"

"We stayed for 4 nights in June. The hotel is close to many shops and restaurants, and conveniently located above a small grocery store and delicious boulangerie!
We unfortunately missed our room cleaning twice due to it being so late in the day.
The room was equipped with a kettle and some tea, with coffee and soft drinks available for purchase at the front desk (along with additional glassware), and a mini fridge that did not get very cold. For a few nights, this hotel was just what we needed...

"I waited 10 minutes in the lobby before anyone attended. I got to my room and took a shower. The shower drain was blocked causing the water to run out of the shower, into the bathroom and on to the bedroom. It was a mess. I had to use the towels to dam the water flow. Then my door wouldn’t lock. When I closed the door it could be opened by pushing g the door. I requested a room change but the desk clerk was reluctant to so to do. Eventually he relented and I moved to a more secure room.

"Great location, easily commutable to attractions. 24h reception but night staff not as diligent or helpful as day staff.
Cleaning staff did the bare minimum.

"This is a well located hotel for central Lyon. It has a delightful reception, lounge and breakfast restaurant area. The breakfast although 16 euros is great with good choice. The staff could not be more helpful. The rooms do let this hotel down, as they are small and have been updated in a more contemporary style. The curtains are not well positioned to cover the windows and so let in a lot of light and do not provide privacy. The bathrooms are very small and some are in need of updating."
