"Excellent room and services and excellent staff. Reception staff Tamara was very accommodative of our needs and she even arrange a car with driver for us for a 12 hour trip starting early morning. The staff at the restaurant and the roof top bar were excellent too and provided us our choice of food that were not in the menu. I highly recommend this hotel."

"The hotel is comfortable. Away from civilisation so its peaceful. Downside is that is it very far from places that you would want to go to. There is no fridge in the room, that's sad. I couldn't buy back beers to chill in my room. The hotel does not have any alcohol in their menu. The food in the hotel is not that great. If you are hungry after 10pm your only option is to order in. Use the GO-Jek app to get some pretty good food delivered to you. Basically, the hotel is a good place to come back...

Ingkung Jawa Sedang – It can be intimidating being served a full chicken from head to claw... But this was one of the best dishes we've had in Indonesia (and we've basically eaten our way across Java). The meat is incredibly tender and the flavour was subtle yet tasty. They also have the most delicious #Gudeg (ask for the coconut flower). If you want a genuine dining experience in Yogyakarta then this place is a must. #food #foodie #culinary
