"We stayed two nights. The hotel is in an ideal location, close to the sea and the city center. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant. The food was good, but the portions were small; it would be nice if they were larger. The selection is a bit limited because they offer only a few dishes. The cleanliness was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. The only downside, which is not the hotel's responsibility, was that we had a soccer team next door who made a lot of noise until after midnight....

Only take us 8 minutes walking to the bus station or the ferry terminal that can take you to Portofino (it takes around 15 minutes to Portofino by bus or ferry). Santa Margherita Ligure itself is a beautiful place that worth to spend some time. I am highly recommend you to stay this hotel if you plan to visit Portofino. I will definitely stay...
