"Charming boutique hotel right on the road to Moustiers Sainte Marie. The room was clean, size was good, and there is stocked fridge with drinks on a self-serve pay system that is reasonable. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. The hotel has a wonderful patio deck with a gorgeous view of the valley below Moustiers where you can have breakfast or just sit and enjoy reading. "The Medieval Castle was beautiful and the views are spectacular. Hortense was such a pleasant to deal with. She makes sure we have everything we have, answered all our questions and very welcoming. The food was delicious, we would go back."

"Loved loved loved it. It was maybe one of the most unique hotels I've ever stayed at. It was quaint, cozy, and in a small town not too hard to drive to. The dinner and breakfast was fabulous, and everyone there was able to provide us with great recommendations regarding where to hike and kayak. I would just make sure that when you're there you're serving dinner - the day we left they were forgoing dinner service (because there weren't enough people staying) and you had to drive out to grab food....

"Stayed here during 2nd week of September. Very nice hotel with clean and spacious rooms. Staff pleasant and helpful. Its a short walk into the "vielle ville" (10 minutes) for the shops and restaurants, but in return you get a quiet location and safe and convenient parking. Some closer restaurants along the walk into town as well (don't miss Cote' Jardin)."

"This was our second stay at this well located hotel in beautiful Castallane. The staff are super - helpful and welcoming. The facilities are good with a lovely pool and seating area, and the rooms comfortable. The breakfasts are excellent and being outdoors types having decent fruit, cereals and bread in addition to the normal continental fare was welcome - cooked is available too. A great hotel in a super town."

"Pros- Calm and quiet place to stay. It is located away from the busy streets of city, this will make sure a peaceful evening during the stay. "My wife and I revisited this hotel for the first time in 26 years. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The view from the rooms is amazing. The pool is amazing. Breakfast was delicious. We walked in to Draguignan for the evening. Took about 45 minutes each way but was nice not to use the car and enjoy the scenery. We'll be back for sure."

"Lovely hotel in a picturesque setting. Close to all kinds of shops. Easy reach of both beaches and ski resorts. The room was very clean and comfortable and all with very good service. "Staff were friendly and welcoming however once we got to our rooms, they were very dim, we found a few spiders and the beds were not the most comfortable. Food selection was ok and you get wine included in your dinner if you go half board. We were also sent in the wrong directions for hiring paddle boats in Gorge du Verdon unfortunately. "
