"Overall a good place to stay, within walking distance of the central train station and all the major attractions.
The hotel is small but adequate, as are the rooms.
Breakfast is very good.
It is very clear that the staff members are proud of providing a good experience.
Our only incident was losing hotel WiFi for almost a day, and the front desk insisting that they were not at fault - my phone and iPad were at fault. Later that day the front desk told us that a fault had been found and...

"We were there during the hottest part of summer, and really appreciated the effective air-conditioning. The breakfast buffet from 7 to 10 was a lovely touch, and had a nice selection of meat, cheeses, cereals, yougurt and apples / oranges, and offered scrambled eggs, along with rice and hotdog with boiled cabbage and soup.
There was ample space for storing your luggage if you had to check out before you actually left the area. The location very close to the street cars and the train station was...

"Pros are it's a good price for the area, and a nice area, with grest reception staff.
The cleaning was just really bad. The inside of the fridge was gross and needed cleaning badly, the mug was never cleaned the whole time I was there, the toothbrush holder was really dirty, and they have a problem with mosquitoes in the room even with the windows closed. They just need to up their game with the cleaning and then this would be perfect for the price."

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel La Fortezza. The rooms were clean, modern, and spacious for 2 - 3 people. The beds and linens were luxurious. The breakfast was good and plentiful. We walked to most of the sites we wanted to see or took a short taxi ride when we were too tired at night. I highly recommend the hotel."
