"We checked in around 8pm after going to an event. The boiler had exploded at some point that night. There was no heat or hot water. This is a remote location, so at that point in the day we didn't have another option. I realize what happened was out of their control, but they didn't offer anything to help accommodate for this issue, even just a free breakfast would've been fine. We paid full price for a place without heat or hot water. We couldn't shower in the morning before we met family and...

"First, the staff here are excellent. Really helpful and kind and friendly. From the front desk to the restaurant to the housekeeping staff. They were all wonderful.
The decor is nice, the grounds are well kept, the location is great.
The only fault (and I get that this is a big one) was that there is a deep musty odor in the rooms. After a while you get used to it, but it seems like there is something going on that the company needs to address.
This isn't something that the staff onsite...
