"Construction is going on inside of the hotel and started at 8 am waking us up from our sleep in a fright. When we called the front desk they said the construction shouldn’t be happening by our room but even they could hear the noise through the phone. We couldn’t go back to bed and ended up just packing up and exiting early."

"The staff has dirty uniforms, could not get hot water to make tea to day. Stated the coffees shop is closed on Monday's. Hall floors are not vacuum, glass doors were not cleaned during my total stay.
In general poor maintenance."

"Our stay at the Stamford La Quinta was very interesting. I think the hotel has a lot of potential and a decent location but unfortunately the hotel is maintained somewhat poorly. Broken elevators, cracks in sinks, minor cleanliness issues, broken and/or outdated furniture/appliances. But overall, still a clean room and hallways. I have mixed feelings about our stay because while you can tell they do try to clean.... I just don't understand why such simple things are being left broken/unfixed....

"I chose it because of the price. You get what you paid for.
A dated hotel that needs updating and maintenance, a working breakfast buffet, better ventilation. Too bad since it’s is big, had a large pool, and has a good location with not a lot of hotel options in the area."

"The staff were very welcoming and eager to assist with requests. The room was truly very clean and I was impressed by the attention to detail throughout our stay. Parking was plentiful and the hotel is located in a quiet spot. We didn’t brine or stop at the bar but it was nice knowing it was there for us. Recommend it!"

"The shower hot water didn’t work when we got there. After the maintenance staff fixed it it lasted not even a day before we lost any pressure. The manager was rude when I came down to have someone fix the shower."
