"This was such a lovely place to stay. The staff was super-accommodating, helping me arrange a climb of Mt Ijen and transport. Though it was out of town, it was in a lovely location and still only a 30-minute walk to the beach, where there's a great lobster restaurant where you can lounge for the day by the beach. BB also had Wonderful espresso drinks with breakfast. Lovely touch. "

"I love this area, it’s much quieter and bland in with the local village and people. The cabins are great and the views are excellent. The only thing is that the cabins can get bit too hot, better ventilation or more sufficient fan would make lots of difference. The staff was without fault. Very happy overall."

"I had such an amazing time at the Pande! The family who owns the place was a amazing! I was there over Christmas and New year's, and they invited me to celebrate with their family for newyears. The room was just as pictured and was in a really good spot, I did not have a car or motorcycle but I was still able to get around just fine! "Spent only 1 night at NusaBay Menjangan but was an amazing stay. Lanai Cottage was very comfortable and well thought out. From our arrival to our departure, the staff were all attentive and very helpful. There is only 1 restaurant by the beach for all meals but loved the view. Corals by the jetty were pretty enough. But we signed up for the snorkelling tour which brought us by boat to Menjangan Island (15 - 20 minutes away). There are 2 snorkelling sites by the shore of the island, both...

"This is absolutely a five star property experience, and to be frank, anyone who says otherwise is just and idiot. The property is manicured daily by a large group of caretakers, and the staff is constantly smiling at you while greeting you. It is set perfectly on the beach right in front of a biosphere for snorkeling, and very cheap (but great) restaurant extends to the beach as well. Don't give it a second thought, and just book it! You will love it!!! "

"Adi Assri is a lovely property. We enjoyed our stay. The staff members are very kind, helpful and polite. The spot is beautiful and quiet. It seems likely that the pandemic was hard on many vendors in the area & that they are just now getting back up to speed. The place was only half-filled and some of the services (like spa) were not in full operation. Overall, a lovely place. "

"Pros:the dive company at this hotel is very good The hotel is good value for money The location is handy. It's a 10 minute walk to the beach Cons: as diving company is French, its owners and majority of guests are French, they sit around a very large table with lounge chairs and speak in French and smoke. I found this very alienating as we like to meet other travellers but felt excluded and as non smokers can't handle smoking. If you don't mind that then this hotel may suit you."

"I liked that it was rustic, rather secluded, on a quiet road and had very nice staff. I liked the yards and gardens and the pool looked nice although I didn't try it. I didn't like: the smell of the tap water, the shower head (or rather it was just a cement trough), that the breakfast was minimal (I basically had to buy myself more breakfast at a neighbouring resort's restaurant), that my room didn't have AC because it was open air from the top of the walls to the rafters."

"The staff was incredible. There were times when I attempted to tip room service and they would return the tip later. I had to insist that they keep it. Honest as could be. Clean comfortable and accommodating. They even have vegan options on the menu. Definitely enjoyed the fruits and vegetables on the breakfast buffet as well. He was thoughtful enough to bring us Coffee after a long trip into Pemuteran and took our Breakfast order for the next day right away. "It was like Bali 20 years ago with the best ever snorkeling. No shopping centers or even shops. Beach and sea only. Oh and lots of buses from Java. Luckily this property is 2 gardens and the office off the road. Quiet and serene. Wonderful Balinese dancing next door.."

"Beautiful setting, so secluded, tranquil and breathtaking volcano views. Shame the F&B options were below average in range and quality. The 2 mosques competing for attention at 4am sharp EVERY morning was too much... and then followed by pulsating music from the village below. Where is all this coming from ?? However, the positives do outweigh the negatives."
