"great location walkable to shops and restaurants. the room had no ac and was extremely hot in august. we had the window open but it was quite noisy outside at night on a saturday. the lounge in the hotel also got quite noisy on saturday but during the week it was fine. layout was a bit confusing, lots of stairs and winding hallways. clean and historic. the parking was convenient. would recommend. "

"The receptionist was a lovely lady and she looked after us well despite being a bit early. Very nice lady and made us feel welcome. Room was clean and we got exactly what we paid for, great value. As Dubs, we were shocked at how nice the hotel was the price we paid. All the best to the staff."

"Absolutely perfect! The room was so comfortable and clean. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. Made-to-order breakfast each AM by Patrick, and then he sat down and went through each day's itinerary with us, offering pointers to avoid traffic and take advantage of the most scenic routes.
