Lyssons Hotel Guide - 3 Stars Hotels in Lyssons, Morant Bay

"Lovely property, breakfast was great."

"Staff was excellent, very accommodating and personable. Stunning location and as real Jamaican without the fluff as one can get. Simple and genuinely Jamaican, escapism, ideal for this."

"The staff's service was excellent. The room was clean, the pool was clean and the view was ok. I do recommend this hotel for families and group visits. This trip was for my children's father funeral from Canada. Thanks Tina for your support. "

"Very quiet and a nice get away from home."

"We had a wonderful stay at pimento lodge. Our hosts were welcoming and our rooms were top notch. Thanks for having us "

"Very clean, nice house with comfortable beds. Quiet neighborhood and easy to get too and from the airport. Good food within walking distance as well"

"Don’t book here even if you are tempted; unless you are friends with the owner or you will have many, many problems to deal with …. Expedia helps resolve problems very well. But save yourself the energy. Ya understand. "

"The room was not in the house as shown. It was not gated parking. The bathroom was dirty There was a frog in the toilet. The bed looked unmade and dusty. Decor was not welcoming and homey "

"After 16 hours of travel Arrived Jamaica night time to be told by accommodation caretaker "no electricity so best not to come". Drove around in taxi trying to find alternative accommodation for the night. Next morning went to view accommodation, NOTHING LIKE DESCRIPTION. Horrible. We expected 1 bedroom entire apartment, instead poky room and share amenities, a guest already there. Looks like building site in front, ugly shack for view. Church almost adjoining which apparently gets really loud....

"This was one of the strangest hotel stays I have had. The hotel and views are beautiful. Apparently the owner is a micro-manager and forces the staff to be very pushy. We were constantly asked what our plans were for the day, apparently so the boss could get a cut of any money we spent. The food menu appeared to be prix fixe, but when the bill came, there were additional charges. Some of the food was good, but the price was out of line with local restaurants and resorts. Too little food for too...

"Our stay was nice! Actually had the entire property to ourselves! However I believe that may have come at a price of no bar/restaurant services, we are very adaptable and understanding so it was not a big issue. Property is amazing! Will return when back in Jamaica! "
