"Check in was chaotic. I’m the staff called the room phone at 11:05pm stating they needed me to come back to the front desk for additional information. I asked the manager why they would call and wake me and my young child up past 11 pm for a reservation that had been paid for weeks in advance. They don’t tell you there are additional fees to use the beach / pool. The hallway smelled like cigarettes and many guests had barking dogs. Certainly not worth the price. "It is a neat property with a great location right on tje harbor, and in walking distance to many of the restaurants and coffee/ice cream shops, which are very close to the property. It was fun walking around and going to see the gingerbread cottages nearby as well. It was just me staying there, [on a business trip ], so the room was fine for me, but it’s very small overall. The bed was very comfortable. since I called an advance, they let me reserve a parking spot which was basically right...

"We arrived at 5:30 pm and our room was still not ready. We were told that they were under new management as of the day we checked in. They were also not able to provide us with a key upon check-in so when we returned from dinner we had to walk all around the building to the front entrance to get into our room (without a key the other entrances were not accessible). We feel that we should not be charged the additional "facilities fee" for the inconveniences."

"The air conditioning in multiple rooms did not work. It would turn on for 10 minutes then give us an error code. The room stayed at 84 degrees all night and we needed to open the hallway door in the morning to let some air in. I made a note to hotel staff when they asked about our stay but they didn’t respond."
