Biggest downside was that I was towing my small 5x8 utility trailer behind my SUV on my way to Laconia. When I parked my vehicle in the valet parking spot as I was told to do since the parking garages do not allow trailers, the gentleman that that parked us or took care of us that worked for the hotel said he was going to have to charge me...

"Expected more from an Ascend property than new furniture and trim surfaces in the bathroom. This is an older motel with new amenities. TV didn’t work. Window wasn’t locked and took effort to lock (single story hotel). The only friendly person on.the staff was the lady prepping breakfast. It was a decent location to get downtown."

"The Front Desk staff were very helpful as we booked a block of rooms for a family event in Portsmouth. On site parking was definitely a plus. Our guests enjoyed their stay."
