On deciding to stay in Trier, I looked for something central, within my price range and offering parking. This hotel turned out to be the ideal choice and caused me to extend our stay for an extra night. "Room was clean & staff were friendly. They could have provided a double bed quilt & small fridge. Not very good signal for wifi Internet as because it went on going on & off. Bedside switch near the window side was faulty. Overall everything was fine."

"sehr kahl die wände, nicht wie auf den bildern. check out wurde um 12 uhr angesetzt, war in ordnung um halb 12 wurde dann an der tür geklopft und geschrien dass check out bereits um 11 uhr gewesen wäre..."

"The lady who checked us in would not let us use the elevator. Another lady came up to us as we started the stairs and said use the elevator. The check in clerk, older white lady, said no elevator. The other lady looked at her with shock when the clerk told her in German we are not to use the elevator. I have a hip,knee and shoulder replacement. This was a struggle and not nice of her. We found and used the elevator from then on The people in the morning on our check out were wonderful "

"The restaurant was excellent and accomodated us even though we arrived right at the time they were supposed to close the kitchen. The room was great and clean, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. Highly recommend this hotel if you are in the area."

"Accommodation was excellent and in a good village location. However, staff are available at limited times only i.e. 4pm to 8pm and 7am to 11am. The village is very limited in terms of decent places to eat."

"After staying here for many years we were not advised there was no longer a restaurant in the hotel so had to find one at very short notice. There are still references to the non existing restaurant at the hotel so was a real shock and inconvenient as this is a major reason why we select hotels that a restaurant within them. We feel we should have been advised when we booked our stay and wec.f. would have found a different one with a restaurant."

"A very friendly and well kept hotel with a fantastic kitchen and some lovely wines, as you might expect from a hotel in the Mosel. We dined in on 2 nights out of three and had very well prepared local food. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. My only minor criticism is that their ability to deal with credit and debit cards was iffy. That said, we were able to settle our bill without having to resort to cash. "
