"The hotel was clean, well maintained, and in close walking distance to restaurants and a grocery store. My one complaint is they do not advertise that they provide a grab and go breakfast every morning. Yogurt, muffins or donuts, granola bars, etc. Thinking I only had a tiny fridge and small microwave in my room and not wanting to spend big bucks buying breakfast each morning, I bought $75 worth of muffins, yogurt and cereal before arriving. The property is wonderful. Just off the main road, set back in the woods. It's set up very well. It's also perfectly located in between Acadia, Bar Harbor, and Ellsworth.
The staff was great, friendly, and accommodating. The tents themselves were very cool. The bed was super comfortable, the shower was massive, and they have a nice little deck and firepit.

"I booked this hotel, because it had pool listed. Unpleasant surprise after we checked in to find out that pool has been closed for some years and not planning to reopen any time soon. The foundation sunk . I would like to get reimbursed because we had to stay in the room as there was nothing else to do. Also, this hotel doesn't have an elevator, it was ok with us to walk up the stairs, but maybe some other people with wheelchair, stroller or heavy luggage it would be hard. Breakfast...

"The views from our balcony room were amazing, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, everything was very clean and comfortable. Loved that breakfast is included. Also loved the indoor pool and jacuzzi to end our nights. Overall it was a great calm weekend getaway for my birthday, definitely will be coming back."
