"Close to the centre of Gent with a tram stop directly outside to take you to the train station, or a 20 minute walk. Beds comfy, rooms clean and warm ,shower hot, good for the price. Cafés nearby if going out for breakfast. Other guests were noisy late one evening but this was quickly resolved by the night staff. The walls are a little thin. I have stayed here before some years ago and would stay again. "

"It’s a nice, clean and modern hotel with kind and helpful stuff. Loved that they had an electric kettle and coffee-maker in the room. It’s just a stone’s throw away from the Ghent-St. Peter’s train stop, which get you to/ from Brussels. Only downside is it’s about a 35-minute walk (albeit a scenic riverside stroll) from the medieval center of Gent, where all the biggest attractions are. I didn’t mind the walk back after eating too much frites, beer and waffles. "

"loved the breakfast. The hotel is historic art deco architecture and it's in a residential neighborhood with more interesting architecture. It's a nice neighborhood to walk around, but it's a pretty long walk to any restaurants and the city center. We did that walk - in pouring rain! - but we like to walk. Friendly staff and friendly fellow guests at the breakfast buffet. "

"Have stayed here before. Always felt that it gave good value. Parking easy and usually a quiet place to stay. Breakfast good . "

"The hotel is beautiful and in a wonderful location. I had hoped to get a parking spot at the hotel. I wasn't aware that the spots are limited and you have to reserve a spot. With all of the one way streets, it is very frustrating to get to the parking garages. But the young lady at the desk was very friendly and helpful. Ghent is an amazing place!"

"Lovely old building. Yes, stairs are original and steep but not a problem. Front view is of square used for parking - shame but didnt spend time looking out of the window. Great place to stay"

"We loved our stay, the hotel is in an ideal location for the town centre and they tried to meet most of our special requests, very quiet room, walk-in, full-height shower. Extremely comfy beds, but no natural down pillows. Mainly good breakfast with range of usual food, bit lacking in wholemeal /rye breads, sadly nothing much in fresh salad stuff like cucumber /tomatoes /peppers. "
