"Gateway Inn was in the perfect location, getting to the park was so easy and we were able to completely skip the line. The staff was great, and the property was amazing for what we paid for. Will definitely be returning!"

"Building was cute and antique looking. But we (2 people) booked a room with double beds, they gave us a single bed anyways. We arrived after hours so there was no one to help. By the next morning we didn’t feel like moving all our stuff so we didn’t complain. What I did bring to their attention was stained sheets. They changed them to another set of stained sheets. Their amenities (aka one restaurant and one cafe) do not open till noon-8pm and there’s no food options anywhere near (within a hour...

"Meticulously decorated, but too many display items hindering useful space. Too many fur rugs, trip hazard. antique tub is so tall, and without rail or grab bar, dangerous. Lucky we did not need a shower that day. A desk in the huge Walk-in closet would be wonderful.
We did enjoy the tremendous and well maintained lush garden, and vases of arranged flowers everywhere. The breakfast and treats items are generous and thoughtful."

"Great historical hotel, beautiful place, really enjoyed staying there. Great location, so close to lots of trails, amazing park.
What I did not like much: quality and variety of meals at the restaurant was not great. The hotel has just one restaurant, it is expensive, but the meals are not good enough for me, did not enjoy them as much. And very limited vegetarian options."
