"We enjoyed our stay at the resort. The indoor pool and hot tub were perfect. We enjoyed the fire by the bay. The walls are thin and we ended up using a white noise ap to block out the noise. A warning to anyone who struggles with stairs. There is not an elevator and even if you get a first floor room the breakfast buffet is gonna flight of stairs. If stairs aren’t an issue for your group then this is a great hotel."

"Horrible - WAYYYYY under staffed - drove up from Maryland for a nice vacation with my wife, 10 month old and 3 year old - we left our house at 2am and showed up around 11am - asked for early check in? No? No problem, we get it so we hung out until 4pm like everyone else, 4pm - no room, no update 5pm - no room no update - 6pm no room no update - waived a $25 fee for my inconvenience? Cancelled our reservation. Was charged $700 - I won’t have a refund for 7-10 business days

"I stayed at the 1620 for the first time 2 years ago- for a work related conference. We chose not to rebook as the 1620 really needs a refresh.
My stay this week confirmed my initial impression 2 years ago. There is def. areas of the hotel that need repainting. The bedspreads in the rooms are...shabby, stained. The lamps need to be updated (so you can charge phones/MACs). The bathrooms are fine. towels fluffy and white, but smelled of mildew.
Staff were very helpful and kind."

"Staff were lovely upon check in! Parking super easy! Location amazing for ferry proximity! Room cleanliness? Well… it definitely hadn’t been swept in days. Also used wash cloth found on bathroom floor and stains on sink vanity."

"When we checked in, the woman at the front desk seemed indifferent. She checked us in and handed me the keys, but didn’t provide any information about the hotel, such as where the pool or hot tub was located, what time checkout was, or any breakfast suggestions. Nothing at all. We booked the Premium room for that hotel and found we were facing a wall, no view even though the hotel is by the water. I went back downstairs to ask if there might be a room with a view, but before I could do that,...
