"Ft Young is always my go to when visiting the island. That being said if you are in the older part of the hotel, getting your luggage around is a challenge as the elevator does not get you to all areas, HOWEVER there is always friendly staff to lend a hand. I was disappointed not to get a room in the new, deluxe part of the hotel. Not sure how I go about getting one. Overall I am pleased with my stay. I would say that service has improved over the years. Helpful, friendly staff"

"I would suggest that they upgrade to elevators. Walkin up those small steps /stairs with your luggage was inconvenient. The locks on the door were outdated and hard to open. But it seems safe. Clean room, comfy bed and fresh towels was available. The hotel room was just like in the picture ."

"We stayed at the Banyan cottage and it was lovely. Up on a hill, very private. It had screens so no need to worry about bugs. The cooking area was nicely done so that you could cook breakfast easily. The property is gorgeous and you really feel like you're in the middle of the rainforest by yourself. Very relaxing. "Had a wonderful time at the cottage! It was very clean, had wonderful views, and close to everything in the area. Roann was also amazing! Not only did she answer any questions we had but gave us a tour / tasting of the distillery, which we couldn't help but buy a bottle ourselves to have in the evenings when we got back to the house - we aren't typically gin drinkers but we enjoyed this one just over ice! Overall a wonderful experience and will definitely be back!"
