"This property is pretty good for the value. I really like the easy check-in and -out. It's a 15 minute metro bus ride from the Hamburg Central Station. And the bus stops right outside the hotel (a plus). I didn't find this inconvenient (this is coming from a person who likes to walk everywhere. FYI, it takes about 30 minutes to walk. "The one thing we found that was slightly off-putting was that the photos on-line are designed to make the hotel look new, modern and spacious, when in fact it's a beautifully restored older building with smaller bedrooms, tiny elevators, and lovely winding staircases. "We travel to and from Denmark and stay here to facilitate use of the Gluckstadt ferry. The welcome is excellent and the restaurant superb. The continental breakfast is extensive and tasty and a pot of coffee is provided. There are a number of sister hotels too. All in all not one to miss. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed."

"Great Hotel. Nice decent rooms. I had a single room and it was a decent size. Breakfast was really good. Quite diverse like Flaxseeds and Chia seeds etc. Nice location just behind a forest and a quick walk to the city center of Pinneberg and to the train station for Hamburg.
