Everything was great! The room was clean and breakfast was delicious. The only complaint I could have is the sink design in the bathroom is a bit far back from the edge, making it awkward to use. But otherwise the hotel was gorgeous and it was a lovely stay!

Overall nice hotel and staff, but do not expect any help with the illogical and extremly confusing system for charging electrical cars. No info , no QR-code on the charging devices, upon googling the company name you get info on how to buy a home charger..upon asking the staff of the hotel that is listed as “has charging for el-car” you get nothing. Very nice breakfast, with a large variety of cheeses and local specialties.

The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was basic but good. The restaurant staff was fantastic! very attentive and friendly. The food was great too. The 2 reception ladies were lovely, very welcoming, and friendly. The only reason for 4 stars is the property doesn't have AC in the rooms, and it can get very hot. Unfortunately garden view rooms were not available, and I had to book 'city view' (basically street view); it was very loud in the early hours, I couldn't keep windows open, and this is when AC would be useful. With closed windows, you can have a good sleep, and you don't hear the noise from the street, but it gets very hot when the outside temperature is high. All in all, it's a lovely place to stay.

Good hotel with quick 30min access to Hamburg

Family rooms not facing the street would be good as the rooms have no air conditioning which was uncomfortable warm at night. So either open window and street noice in the morning or quietness and warmth.

When you arrive in the late afternoon after a 600 km drive and are welcomed by a nice screen where YOU have to fill in your personal data to check in, you don't feel like leaving a tip, eating dinner nor taking the breakfast there. Organizing for efficiency can be understood, but the customer's standpoint is important too...

Die Unterkunft hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Das Frühstücksbuffet hatte alles da, was ich mir vorgestellt hatte, eine super Auswahl und noch mehr. Ein kleines Minus empfand ich beim Gelangen von der Tiefgarage in den Flügel der 300ter Zimmer, da es ein paar Stufen gab ohne Aufzug, die zu bewältigen waren um die Rezeption herum, was etwas unpraktisch war. Ansonsten guter Preis und alles super. Parkplatz vorhanden in der Tiefgarage, war etwas schwer zu verlassen, da sehr großer Andrang war als ich frühs verlassen wollte. 🙈

Grossartig ist im Hotel am Schloss immer das Frühstück. Die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, so ist Teppichboden heute eigentlich kein Standard mehr und der Fön im Badezimmer gehört direkt ins Museum. Parken in de3 Nähe möglich ohne dass man die Garage nutzen muss

Perfekt för vår familj på fyra. Skön säng och bra bäddsoffa. Ligger i ett mysigt och lummigt område. Promenadavstånd till flera restauranger, bageri och matbutik. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Plus för mineralvatten och kaffe på rummet.
