"Staff were all friendly. Lobby is lovely, the rooms and the restaurant needs improvements. Our room was not serviced daily and that really bothered me since we were there 5 days. The bathroom was moldy and the tub did not drain but the shower head was excellent. So its really a mixed bag. If you can get a good rate under $200 its ok but anything more then there are nicer options. Despite its issues I would stay again bec the staff was nice its a decent hotel. "

"Very pleasantly surprised with size of room, amenities, cleanliness, and firm mattress. The room was up to date and had a small kitchen with full refrigerator and sink and paper towels, sponge, and cleaning supplies. There was more, but I did not prepare any meals. The mattress was firm and comfortable. Although the bathroom was handicap accessible, it would be difficult to get a wheelchair close to the shower/tub. I would gladly stay again."

"We were very happily impressed with our room. Everything we needed was already in place. We recently stayed at another hotel for our niece’s wedding and got a group rate for our room. The rooms were less than half the size, not as nice and cost twice as much! That’s with the discount! We wish we could have stayed longer and look forward to staying with you again. Thank you "

"I loved the historic charm and decor of the property. Plenty of onsite free parking, bar and restaurant on site, and wonderful robe for after my shower. We did have to go to the bar to get ice and a drink as there are no ice or vending machines but it was not a problem. The bathroom had a slightly odd configuration with the sink and mirror in the corner and it was rather small but it worked. Would definitely recommend and this will be our spot for our annual trip to Rochester. "
