"The hotel is unique in decor. It is older, but very clean and antique decor. I loved it. We were pleasantly surprised to get a larger room. Very close to Central Park and Museum across the street. Also subway is close. We walked to the theatre district for a play. I was so happy to find that cleaning staff found my wallet. I had left it in the safe and staff had given it to the office. "We didn't attempt to use the wifi, so we can't comment on that... the TV isn't a smart TV, just a few cable channels. The bathroom had some hair in it. Room waa clean otherwise. Definitely outdated, but easy check in and they offered it early (1pm) upon arrival. Great access to an easy transit station. Honestly, better restaurants to choose from than midtown. "

"The worst room ever. Couldn't sit on toilet because the sink was 3/4 over it. Shower drain cover was not secure and actually fell and cut myself in 3 places....staff was very apologetic....took resort fee off. Very bad stay"
