"Our experience at Demeure Flore was exceptional and one of a kind. Fracesco welcomed us warmly and made us the best meal of our trip which we enjoyed in his lovely garden nestled in the French countryside. Our room was spacious and sparkling clean and it was like finding an oasis after a few long days of travel. The only sad thing was we were only able to stay one night. We hope to return some day. "The exterior of the property is scruffy and ill kept, paint peeling and the stair treads are broken in places. The windows are so dirty you cannot see through them. We booked the hotel because it had a restaurant and I did not want to drive in the evenings - when we got there we were told them were not serving dinner that evening, that the restaurant was full. The receptionist was not helpful or apologetic - we could have gone to any number of hotels nearby but chose this for the restaurant. The breakfast was minimal and they ran out of coffee. Not impressed."
