"Changed room twice. Cockroaches in first room, was told they didnt have another room right then to change us to. Given black garbage bags to place our belongings in. 2nd room dirty, not cleaned from prior guest’s stay. Continental breakfast area was dirty and a foul smell filled the area. There was a large bowl of yogurt on ice, a loaf of bread, boiled eggs, a container of cereal, and a gallon of milk placed on the counter and left there for hours, no ice. "The rooms are small but nice. It’s a beautiful hotel. The lobby is nice and welcoming. The staff were amazing. The next time we come back to Seattle we are definitely staying again and a lot of that has to do with the staff. (Cleaning staff included. Incredibly sweet and attentive) We can’t wait to come back when the weather is nicer so we can utilize the rooftop. Only complaint to possibly have are the pillows are not the best. One isn’t enough but two is too much you know? But if the worst...

"In a really central and fun area of Fremont. The spot was great for what it was—historic chic and relatively clean for a hostel. Only complaint was that the mobile radiator put out very little heat. The huge rooms get super cold in the 30-40 degree weather and could have used thicker (or an extra stash of) blankets in the lockers. "
