"Location is great with lots of free parking options nearby including EV chargers.
The room and bathroom were spacious, clean and warm. On the downside was the fact that our room was just above the pub and on Saturday night was very loud until midnight and we couldn’t sleep. So make sure to ask for a room on higher floor.
Regarding the breakfast one day we had the eggs Benedict which were not good as the hollandaise sauce was too watery, scrambled and bland.

"The staff was lovely and very helpful. The breakfast menu and options were delightful and delicious. My husband recommends the Smoke trout and eggs. we loved the authenticity of our experience. The location was fantastic It was a very short walk to the ocean and we thoroughly enjoyed all the lovely people and their beautiful dogs. Very dog friendly town. "

"Excellent find close to the centre of Alnwick. Fabulous welcome from David & Bev who were fabulous. Gave us great recommendations for places to eat & even booked a table for us. One of the best breakfasts we’ve had for ages …the eggy bread was heavenly. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re up in the North East."
