"This was our first time at the hotel as we were visiting the area due to a friends wedding. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and always very helpful, specially when we had an issue with the charging point for our car. They were able to fix it and did it always being so polite and friendly. The breakfast is very good, with a lot of choice/options. The location is just fantastic, the fact we wake up to the sound of birds is added bonus. The only thing I found could be improved: gym...

"Our reservation was lost by the hotel. They found a room for us but not a deluxe room as we had reserved. Our new room was at a lesser cost but it was a much smaller room than we had booked. Also two twin beds not a king bed as we had booked. An apology would have been appreciated but none was offered. Other than that our stay was comfortable. "

"The check in was quivk and easy. The room was overall comfortable, but mattresses are in need of replacing soon and the room smelled slightly of sewage. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay."

"On going to the reception on Sunday evening, I asked where we could get two more capsules of coffee for the coffee machine in our room. The reply we received from the receptionist was very poor and not what we would expect fron this hotel. The reply we received was 'There is no more free coffee, you will need to buy any further coffee from the bar. A very disappointing experience indeed."

"This hotel needs some updating. There were stains on the carpets and a broken window in the breakfast area. Otherwise it was great. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was large and clean. There was good value. I would stay again."

"The hotel is relatively new and, thus, all of the facilities are pretty new and modern. The people in the Hotel are very friendly, especially, Wesley (I hope I don't misspell his name) picked up my wife and me from Steenwirk train station. Although it has only a distance of one mile, it means great help if you have luggage and the taxi system is not very good in the city. You should try to call the hotel if you have luggage and they will help to pick up you. "

"Het vakantiepark is voorzien van woningen die direct aan het water liggen en voorzien van aanlegsteigers. Vanaf hier kun je vissen. Je vangt ook vis. Op het park is het erg rustig en voor waterliefhbbers het ultieme. In Akkrum is niets te beleven. Wel enkele restaurants. Bakker,slager en supermarkt ook aanwezig."
