"Taxi or shuttle bus is required from airport to hotel. We were charged $30 in taxi going to the hotel and $18 in shuttle bus back to the airport in the morning. Didn’t have time for breakfast. Hotel was clean, beds were comfy and staff were friendly."

"The room had a large bed, but it was 2 single beds pushed together so there was a gutter in the middle, not the most comfy. The balcony still had cigarette ash and biscuits on the floor from the previous guests, and a lot of other random dirt, so guessing it doesn’t get cleaned. Overall a good stay for a single night, if you don’t mind a bit of dirt."

"Excellent location. Booked it because I was participating in the Brisbane Marathon, which happened to start right in front of the property. Check in and check out were a breeze. Apartment was very clean, amenities were excellent, appreciate the clean utensils, fridge, washer and dryer. Only 2 minor inconveniences - sometimes - can be difficult to find a parking lot (I had a rented car) and on Saturday night, there was loud thumping noise coming from neighbouring apartment for more than an hour."

"Great location and great service. Staff are very friendly. Outside pool is cold but lovely on the roof and outlook. Would love it if there was complimentary bottled water in the rooms. Restaurant was very nice too. Close to shops and Queen St Mall"

"Royal Albert has old world charm smack bang next to Queen St Mall. Can't get a better location if you want to be in the city. Rooms are spacious, clean with comfortable beds our two bedroom was almost a fully fledged apartment. Front desk staff are helpful. Would stay again. "
