Nice room and service. You need a taxi to the international terminal, shuttle is a 30 minute round trip. The restaurant in the hotel is obscenely overpriced.

Nice room. Staff are pleasant but not particularly welcoming. Greeted by a screen at check in. Have to type in name, email address etc etc - was all a bit much at 11.00 at night. This was after being ripped off by a taxi driver who charged us double from the airport (fare should be $20-$25 btw and apparently Uber is available if you follow the rideshare signs at the arrivals terminal - none of which was communicated to us by the hotel). Wifi was coming and going in the morning. When I spoke to front desk he stated I was the only one to complain about it and threw his hands up like I was the problem. When I pressed further he offered to connect me with their external wifi providers to trouble shoot the problem! Like I was going to fix it for them!! Went for a swim in their unheated pool. Was freezing but clean and fun. Gym was also tidy and clean but had fun out of water - replaced quickly when asked. Staff member with most Rizz was the bloke in the restaurant / bar. Warm welcome when we arrived at breakfast which was nice and a stand out as rest of staff acted like we were work and they didn't want to be there.

Great place to stay. We overnighted here on a trip from Auckland to Bali. Airport is so close to the hotel. Made it really easy. Room was immaculate and staff very polite. Two things: Taxi's seem unnecessarily expensive for such a short drive. Would be better if the Hotel arranged a free shuttle for travellers, or at least a more affordable option for groups of 3 or more. Disappointed they didn't play the Australia Fifa World Cup match at breakfast too!

I arrived from an international flight, the booking was made by Expedia. A human made me type all my details into a machine to get a key card at 10 pm. In the morning I had just dressed and was putting my shoes on when another guest walked into my room. The night Manager trite tell me I must have not closed the door properly. I said doesn't the weight of the door close it automatically? I tried x10 to not close the door its not possible. He said she didn't use her key card but she held it up to me ...Breakfast, the poor chef couldn't keep up to all the hungry families. One little bowl of scrambled egg. It was chaos. I asked to catch the airport shuttle (advertised as a service), stops at 0900 apparently. Not a good experience 😕

This place has become the place we stay at when flying out of Brisbane. It's so well located being across the street from the DFO, 5 minutes to the airport, and underground parking. Very clean comfortable good size rooms. Definately recommend.

The bed in the room was the best we have slept in for a very long time. The dinner at the Catalina Restaurant was second to none ! We will be back in two weeks for a further two night stay. Cannot recommend Novotel highly enough. 100% first class accommodation.
