"The first room was not clean and towel smell was not good. For one night I thought it would be okay but something bit me during night. The swelling shape was not mosquito. I wanted to get a spray but the staff offered another room to exchange. That room was clean and towel was clean and not smelly. The staff all on the front were nice and professional."

"Sunshine at the front desk was the best! Very Welcoming. Cleaning staff came early morning, asked if she could give us a few minutes to put shoes on and get out of her way. Rolled her eyes left. Did not return until hours later after we had left for her. Another day we had been gone all day and when we returned she rolled up to clean our room and we had to leave again. This was the only problem we had and we returned to this hotel a second time because we liked it and the location was perfect."

"My husband and I booked a deluxe King room for our escape from the kids. We arrived three hours early, and the hotel held our luggage while we explored the city. When we returned and received our keys, we found out we had been assigned a two-queen room. The front desk told us that all the king beds were sold out. That was disappointing because the bed felt small (or maybe it's just because we're used to a king at home). We decided to split up and stay on each of the beds. Additionally, the toilet wasn't level and would move every time we sat on it. Apart from that, the staff was very friendly and greeted us warmly. They greeted be every time I entered or exited the hotel. The food at The Roux was also delicious. My husband and I enjoyed having breakfast there every morning. I love the hotel's location and enjoyed using the gym during our stay."
