"Beautiful location, incredible spa, and Diamond Club certainly worth it. The restaurants are okay, nothing special, but overall the resort is great. We went for skiing, but definitely plan to make another trip during summer season. Indoor pool and hot tub were great for taking our toddler."

"We chose this Hotel as it was in a great location for the Ceremonial start of the Iditarod. We were able to walk anywhere we needed to go for these events. Rooms were clean and up to date. Only thing thst we noriced we would have wanted was a microwave. One thing that did surprise us was the cost of parking in the area. $40/day to park your vehicle with the valet, and almost as much to park anywhere else in the area. "

"large relatively clean 2 bedroom apartment in a good area near downtown. Place was in need of repair - ceiling in one bedroom was actually duct taped up and window didn't completely close. Paint was peeling from multiple wall surfaces. Bed in master room was saggy. Lighting throughout was very dim. Had heavy snow fall and we had to shovel stairs to unit and path to street. Kitchen was well-stocked except very limited coffee (mostly decaf offered). Had large TV's(x3). and lots of Apple...

Just along the Glenn Highway east of Anchorage is this amazing wildflower field! It blooms starting in mid June and this year I happened to be there when the iris and shooting stars were in full bloom. Breathtaking!!!
