"Truly felt vacationed with the beauty and comfort of the property. Staff …. Super friendly! If traveling w a dog, this is the place to be. The salt water pool was wonderful after a long stroll through the beautiful town of Manchester. I’ll be coming back!"

"The resort looks tired. It needs a few repairs. The staff was friendly. We did not eat at the resort, but the next tiem we stay I would like to stay longer. I am not convinced that we received the benefits of the resort that we paid for on our resort fee. I attended a wonderful yoga class with Jasmine. I highly recommend the yoga, and the pool looked inviting, and I wish I had swum laps there. We will try it again, but I think the resort is overpriced given the quality of the amenities...

"The room was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful for our needs. The breakfast was limited and it was make your own type of choices such as bagels, slices of three kinds of bread, and English muffins. You can toast them by yourself and small individual packaged butter were provided. Not cream cheese nor jam. Not hot meals such as eggs nor bacon, sausage. We however enjoyed the bagels every day! There were some fruits available.
We also loved the jacuzzi, a large tub very much....

"The Reluctant Panther was a cut above the other inns that I have stayed at. On check in, we were walked to our room and shown where everything was. The room was very large and comfortable. There was a nice seating area in front of a fireplace.
We chose to eat dinner at the restaurant in the hotel and had a truly excellent meal and excellent service.
Breakfast is served in a basket that can be picked up in the dining room or delivered to your room.
All in all, our stay was exceptional. "

"South Shire is a quaint Victorian Inn on Elm Street within walking distance to the center of Bennington, VT. The Inn has a family feel and elegance. We traveled as a couple. It was easy to get to sites and enjoy fine restaurants. The Inn is in keeping with the feel of strength of the Bennington community, as a place for artists, musicians, and people's expression generally to thrive. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend South Shire."

"Best part: Breakfast and the views.
Communication and follow through were not what I was hoping for. We reported fire ants being at the door on the first night. Received an email saying they would have a service person address it. Next morning the ants made their way into the room. I notified staff the next morning, in person, and was assured it was taken care of. We had ants the entire time, which because more and more of a problem, as one might expect.
Additionally, we paid $300 at the Inn...
