"Stayed one night as was in Thurso for work. Beautifully decorated old building. Entire place was absolutely emaculate. Two stunning lounge areas which wouldnt look out of place in a palace. Loads of books, great sofas. Bed very comfy (loved the clan bedspread, excellent touch), sink in the room too which was a pleasant bonus (booked shared bathroom) Bit of an old-school toilet, as you'd expect, so be careful there. "Graemeshall House is an old manor house. Truly unique. It was the perfect spot for our visit to Orkney. John, the innkeeper was very hospitable , breakfasts were delicious. Our suite was charming. I would stay there again"

"Our 2 night stay was fabulous. Room was a good size the beds were so comfy and the shower was brilliant. Great choice of breakfast options with the most amazing views from our table. Amanda and George were the perfect hosts friendly and helpful"
