"We were very lucky because both times we parked at the hotel, we got one of the 2 slots in front of the hotel, so we didn't have to try and find the additional parking lot, but the staff did give us a map to find it. Keep in mind that there is no lift, so depending on your floor you need to carry your bags up. The 23kg bag was not much fun to take up and then down 2 flights of stairs. "This was a centrally located bed and breakfast in a lovely old home. The room was very small and there was no desk or anywhere to sit other than one chair. The bathroom was well equipped and breakfast was good. I might have been the only guest so it was very quiet - but very convenient to the ferry terminal just 7 miles away."

"I’ve stayed here each time I’ve come to Scotland. The only hotel I’ve stayed in more than once. You’re central to just about anywhere you’d like to go in the area. The folks who work there are the best of the best. Rooms are clean, all appliances work, bathrooms are huge, big windows, a fabulous bath & water pressure to write home about. "We were very pleasantly surprised to learn our 1 room family suite had 2 separate bedrooms. Beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was nice. Only issues were that we only had 1 key which made it tricky every time we went separate places. Also there was an illuminated exit sign in the king bedroom we had to cover up it was so bright, and when others shut their doors it would thump ours. Loved the skylights, was a bit stuffy but those helped. Loved the breakfast!"

"Hotel check in was friendly, was asked if wanted quiet room but ended outside main road! Room was big as had an extra bed in. Off white bed covers was a bit odd but clean, windows werent the best as couldnt see out due to marks or condensation. Bathroom was OK. Breakfast was simple but nice. Hotel is next to a pub so had dinner there with was good"
