"I’m glad I listened to most of the reviews for this place. We came for the sheep farm, but in the end this manor made the stay worth the scary drive from Hualien. From the beginning, they made us feel like special guests. The valet driver understood my hesitation to park my rental car in these small tight spaces and asked if he can take over and then he parked the car with so much ease. Then we were directed to the lobby where our hostess explained to us about our stay while another hostess...

"This is my fourth stay in this hotel/resort and I must say that I'm still very impressed with the quality of the place. The room was great with comfortable beds and a nice tub for soaking in the natural hot and cold spring water. However, this is the first time I've visited the hotel during a non-peak period and I was not too pleased with the standard of the breakfast that was served. "A new, very modern property on the main road going through Sun Moon Lake. Rooms spacious and very contemporary with comfortable beds. However, the walls are very thin so everything can be heard from the adjoining rooms and not sure about the clear glass partitioning of the toilet and shower."

The kids enjoyed the arcade room and their tatami room bed. Staff was very helpful and arrived right away to help us with the bed when we requested it. We especially enjoyed the free bikes with children’s seats - it was so easy to bike along the boardwalk right outside, and our sons are already asking to go back. "
