"This is a lovely modern hotel. Very nice rooms and facilities, but on tiered hillside levels so may not suit people with mobility difficulties. You can walk to the town centre in about 25 minutes. I have no hesitation in recommending Alexis Motels."

"La Quinta had on my request given us an accessible room on the first floor. They have an elevator just for hotel guests and residents, which operates on your door card. Hence you know it is safe, no one who doesn’t belong there can come up. The room was very spacious so I could drive around on my wheelchair without damaging anything. "Our studio unit has the lakeside view of Lake Wakatipu. It was very convenient to have a full kitchen and washer/dryer for our 4 nights stay. The place is very near and walkable to the Central Business District. Very quiet too."
