"The property is beautiful and is right in the old city. The room was good size and had a large bathroom. We had a lovely view of the hotel gardens. The pool area was especially nice. It was a little confusing for us to figure out exactly where to go to be transferred to the hotel. All the staff were very friendly,helpful and professional. Some of the carpets are showing their age and could us an upgrade. We would certainly stay there again."

"Nice hotel in good location with friendly staff, especially the English man who checked us in - he was very friendly, efficient and helpful and does the hotel credit. Our room was very nice with castle view, the breakfast was reasonable though blighted by a tempermental coffee machine and an agonisingly slow toaster (why are these so common in hotels?). A star deducted for the housekeeping which did not get to our room until 4 pm and failed to replenish toilet roll, face tissues or replace the...
