"We had a great overnight stay at The Kinson. Our room (studio with balcony) was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed and block-out curtains. The location was great, super close to public transport with trams into the city coming very frequently down St Kilda road. The only feedback for improvement is better lighting in the room which was very dim, especially as our balcony faced another building. "

"The hotel is very modern. The standard room is luxurious and has everything you could need, including the three main things I value - comfy bed, excellent shower and quiet surrounds (even being literally on top of the footpath on a Sat night). The restaurant Dolly is lovely for dinner and the buffet breakfast there was wonderful. The staff were lovely and really helpful. Had an issue with the third party parking which they assisted with. "I like the Olson and stay every time I visit Melbourne. It is clean and staff are nice. I love the location which is a huge positive. All the rooms have a kitchenette as well. The hotel is looking tired. That’s not a big issue for me. However this is the second time that the room has been noisy and I haven’t been able to sleep. I am not sure whether it is current in some kind of air shaft or air conditioner, but there’s a constant noise. "

"Absolutely loved the hotel. Staff were so friendly and helpful. On 2 occasions a young gentleman met us at the car to help with our luggage and shopping. He was lovely. Hotel was so clean bed was comfy. Couldn’t fault it. We had an amazing stay. And will definitely come back "

"It is in a laneway so not the grand entranve style hotel, but only one street away from trams, pubs, coffee shops and food. All within the free tram zone, which is an excellent service the city of Melbourne provides. Also leas than 2 mins walk to the old trolle tram 35 - melbournes tourism tram - also free - go melbourne"
