It was really great to walk into the hotel with air conditioning during France's "heat wave". Our room was nice and cool and good size too. It looked like redecorated fairly recently. This was a wonderful discovery! Beautiful tranquil setting with a charming host. The property is accessible via a quaint forest road. Having meals on our veranda overlooking the lake was a wonderful break. Dinner was perfect (4-course), and breakfast fresh and included lovely pastries and or course a gorgeous Frech croissant, the perfect start to a day in the charming French countryside.
