"We had an amazing time at Explorar. We were a bit hesitant to book at the start given the unknown/name of the hotel, but we're so glad we ended up booking. It was nothing short of amazing, the room, facilities, pool, bar, food (special highlight to the Pad Thai and the wood fire pizzas), and the staff is definitely a highlight. I studied many other luxury options and glad I chose this one. Get a few minutes away from town and stay here. Close to airport. "

"This resort is wonderful! The food is absolutely fabulous. We were there for four nights in off-season and it was quiet and romantic. This is not a party type place-at least when we were there. The staff is so warm and friendly and always smile. They had a party by the pool with great snacks and free drinks and very comfortable atmosphere. I would come back here. There's not much around the resort in terms of shopping or anything so if you want to be in the middle of the action this is not the...

"We had a wonderful stay relaxing at Melia. We came for our honeymoon and they upgraded our room and decorated the bed. Everyone was very friendly and it was close enough to explore the neighbouring areas. There was also a good variety of breakfast options. Thank you Melia!"

"The hotel is secluded which is great but also requires for transportation to anything outside the hotel. If you want to eat in a local restaurant rather than the hotel it's a 30 min Car Ride away. As long as that is acceptable to you no issue but if you like to go outside the hotel from time to time this can be an issue. There is nothing around the hotel area that can be deemed as acceptable, at least not what we have been able to check out. "
