"I stayed 3 nights but the second day our room was not cleaned or serviced. I found the room in that condition around 5:00 pm when I returned to my room. I talked to the representative at the front desk and she did arrange for the room to be cleaned and serviced. I am really disappointed that this type of poor service occurred. I have stayed at this Embassy suites multiple-days in the past."

"It was the most beautiful spot of natural beauty right on the Ashley River and a half hour from Charleston. The architecture was stunning and allowed us to feel like we were in nature whether we were in our bed, at breakfast, or in the Lodge, thanks to the oversized walls of glass in all buildings. Hammocks hanging in trees were inviting and helped us have the most relaxing retreat from the hectic pace life often demands. Every staff member was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. Rooms were very clean. Hot breakfasts daily at the Lake House were delicious and the complimentary offerings at the Lodge for Happy Hour and the Nightcap every evening were unexpected surprises. We are booking another stay later this summer even though we just got home to Greenville 3 days ago. The only recommendation I have is to ask for a first floor room if walking up a long flight of cement steps would be a challenge."

"The location is terrific. The hotel is older, but it has been fairly well maintained. We had a pizza as a snack when we arrived and it was wonderful. We would go back the next time we go to Charleston."

"Other than seeing a woman's dog swimming in the swimming poo whenl the sign clearly says no pets within the pool area? Or the washing machine not working and requiring a credit card Or the breakfast that had pork in it that I couldn't eat. Or these fake alarm calls. Etc."

"Hotel peaked years ago. Staff is very arrogant - had reserved a king bed months and months ago and they didnt have any . Constant weddings and such loud music from the weddings late into the night. Food overpriced. Not worth the high price tag . Do airbnb or Verbo. This is a pass"

"This Drury Inn was spectacular! The room was spotless. The pool and spa were divine. The hotel is spacious and welcoming. Every staff member I encountered was polite and professional. The hotel is close to shopping and restaurants and just a quick drive to the historic downtown Charleston Peninsula. I will undoubtedly stay here again."
