"The AC in these rooms got colder than any hotel I have ever slept in. I actually had to get up in the middle of the night and layer up! Pool was kept clean, there was just never any towels to use at the pool side so be prepped to bring your own- the breakfast was fantastic"

"The security protocol was difficult and very excessive, and the host asked for the same information 3-4x, including after we had been cleared and had been checked in for hours. Very disorganized. The carpet and couch are stained, the unit looks wiped clean but definitely does not appear to ever be deep cleaned. The shower doesn't drain well so that you are in standing water. Toilet paper is the worst 1-ply available. Dark scuffs all over the walls. It may look cute in pics, but the experience is not enjoyable at all once you see how gross it really is in person. Couldn't wait to get out of there."

"March 16, 2026 Subject: Formal Dispute and Refund Request – Motel 6 Booking To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally dispute the charge of $100 for a hotel stay that I booked through Expedia using Affirm financing due to my flight back to New York City being cancelled because of severe weather conditions. Because of the unexpected cancellation, I urgently needed accommodations and could not afford the additional nights at my previous hotel or the extremely high airline rebooking costs. I therefore booked a stay at Motel 6 through Expedia. Unfortunately, my experience at this location was unacceptable and far below basic health and safety standards. Before arriving, I called the hotel and was informed that early check-in would be available. However, when I arrived, I was told the room was not ready and I was forced to wait in the lobby for nearly two hours. During this time, the staff would not even allow me to use the restroom. At approximately 3:00 PM, the receptionist stated that the room was ready and collected my information. At that time, I was suddenly informed that the water in the room was not working. This was extremely frustrating because this information was not disclosed while I was waiting in the lobby for hours. Once I entered the room, the conditions were disturbing. The room had a very strong odor and was extremely dirty. The carpet, stairs, walls, and bed sheets were covered in stains and appeared unsanitary. I have photos and videos docum"

"This was the wrost homewood i have ever stayed at. The breakfast was cold and no one kept up with restocking breakfast. There was no elevator, had to carry all our luggage up to the 4th floor. They made us wait 1 hour in the lobby saying our room wasn't ready. When we finally got to our room It was still dirty and hot ,the cooler was set to a certain temp and they would not go lower.it was a bad experience that cost me1200.00 there was broken doors and no body wash in the showers and we found a bug in the restroom, the maintenance guy just told us it wont make us itch. It wasn't a fun weekend at all. All the surfaces look like they haven't been wiped in a while,they had dust and the dishes had old food stuck on them. Also just one old pan in the kitchen. When i tried to complain, they only told me they will give me points. Like that will help the situation "
