"Staff are very helpful and willing to accommodate any requests. We are group of 4 families and the owner arranged kitchen staff to make breakfast to our liking and packed for some of our members who could not be on site for breakfast. We would definitely recommend the place without hesitation. "

"Absolutely stunning hotel. The rooms were amazing. The ambiance 10/10. Everyone is super friendly. I travel a lot all over the world staying in very nice hotels. This one ranks top10 on my list. The hotel dogs (two Irish wolfhounds) were a nice touch to this countryside castle hotel."

"Review for Cashen Course House – September 2025 We had a lovely stay at Cashen Course House in Ballybunion. The location is perfect — quiet but still close to the town and golf course. The room was spotless, and everything was well maintained, which made for a really comfortable stay. Having on-site parking was a big plus, especially after driving around the countryside. "It was lovely. The grounds were quiet and private even though it was close to the road. Sandra the owner was very sweet, kind and accommodating. The rooms were nice and we had two bathrooms in our room, which was so nice. The only hiccup I can mention is that on hotels.com, the address was listed as Fenit Road and it was on Knockanush East. We had to call them to get that information."

"Due to a family bereavement they were unable to offer breakfast, but we had not booked breakfast anyway. Although we were there in late August the town was incredibly quiet. Most food and drink places were closed for the duration of our 3 night stay, for breakfast or dinner. But McMunns were open on our last night and we got a good dinner there."

"Staff was very friendly, food at Benners is amazing! Highly recommend lunch there on Thursday/sunday especially if you like pizza! Rooms are a bit outdated and no mini fridge but it’s clean and comfortable. "
