The hosts can’t do enough for you, everything is perfect from arrival until you leave, the breakfasts are fantastic. It’s by far the nicest accommodation we have ever stayed at.

The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Karolyn and Chris provided everything we could need. They gave us great advice on special places of interest. We enjoyed 2 evenings sitting by a roaring fire in the visitors lounge, and 2 mornings of excellent food with a wide choice. The house is historic and oozes charm and comfort.

We would like to thank Carolyn and Chris at Disblair House for providing us with the best bed and breakfast stay we have ever had. We could not fault anything about our stay , from the warm welcome , the comfortable en-suite , the amazing breakfast and the lovely quirky decor and best of all the friendliness of the hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights at Disblair House - the room was very comfortable with everything that we needed. Breakfast was amazing - so much choice and everything delicious. Karolyn and Chris are delightful hosts - very friendly and hospitable. The lounge with open fire and honesty bar were an added bonus in the evening. We highly recommend it to anyone and would love to return.

I travel a lot for work, and it was great to find this little hotel off the beaten track. The owners are friendly and welcoming, and the room was comfortable and well laid out, with plenty of space. I used the link in the booking confirmation to find the hotel without any trouble, but take care to follow the signs.

Karolynn and Chris were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Our room was very comfortable and well equipped. The WiFi was the best I've ever had in a hotel, which was surprising given it's rural location. The breakfast was very good and there was a wide choice. Staff as in the hosts Fantastic, Great 500 year old house in a picturesque location and nothing too much trouble as for the breakfast So much choice and so much food both hot and cold You’ll not want to move after!!😝 Cannot praise this place enough !!

Spent a lovely few days here as a family. Karolyn & Chris were the perfect hosts in their lovely period home & the breakfasts were delicious. The location is a short drive from Aberdeen Airport and a great base for exploring NE Scotland’s stunning coastline, the Cairngorms etc.

We were pleasantly surprised at how wonderful Disblair House was. The public area was extremely warm and inviting with a real fire in the fireplace each evening! And an honesty bar to enjoy too! My wife and I love houses with real character. We enjoyed sitting in a two hundred year old living room, open fire, glass of something in hand- lord of the manor! Very relaxing- really quiet- excellent breakfast. First class hosts- would like to go back some time.

Friendly Staff

My family had a wonderful stay at the Disblair House Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast each morning were amazing! The best we had our entire trip in Scotland, we stayed at 5 different hotels on our trip.
